About Us

HBS was originally founded by Mr. Harold Culler and Mr. J. Otto Warren, Sr. in Orangeburg, SC in 1945.  J. Otto Warren, Jr. began working with his father and Mr. Culler in 1947 and eventually purchased the company from them in the mid-1960s.  This family run business has remained in its original location since its founding, though it has grown tremendously and expanded to buildings on both sides of Sellers Avenue.  As a small-town business, we will continue to operate under the same family and community values of our original founders.
